Sintra with traditional sweets workshop | 1 Day

This will be the base of our tour, getting to know Sintra from a local point of view.

Lord Byron called Sintra the “Garden of Eden” and others have named it the “Most beautiful village in the world.” But for those who live in Sintra this has always been our home, our village.

On this tour we will we will get to know the monuments of Sintra, of course, but we will also go to the places where the locals will drink a coffee.

Visit the Pena National Palace to discover an exotic and eclectic profusion of styles in accordance with the tastes of Romanticism. 

You will have the services of an expert guide who will explain the history of how Sintra came to be, while you wander around the romantic and mysterious gardens of the Pena Palace.

After visiting the exuberant colorful palace we will have our workshop where we will do and where we will melt with the fantastic flavor of the Queijadas and Travesseiros (the cost of the workshop will be paid on the spot, has a value of 45 € per person and duration of 45min , all the sweets you make you can take with you).

On the way to the historic center you cannot miss a fantastic lunch.

You will also go to Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), the most western point of mainland Europe.

After a fabulous day we will return to the hotel with the certainty that we had a day to remember
