The most delicious way to get to know a country is to taste its gastronomy and if there is a test in which Portugal passes with distinction it is precisely to fill the belly and indulge the desire to eat well.
This tour reviews some typical delicacies of the country that you can taste in Santarém, a location relatively close to Lisbon.
Aims to convince by taste that if you are a lover of cheese, wine and olive oil add Portugal to your list of unmissable destinations
Is served?
There are no limits to the flavors and textures of Portuguese cheeses, since the country produces a little bit of everything, from creamy and moderate to harder cheeses, which can be served in small local restaurants, or even taverns or cellars..
Let’s start with cheese production, because we are going to put our hands on the dough or we can say the hand on the cheese (20€per person)
After making cheese and tasting it, we will continue on to our fabulous lunch with wine tasting (around 35 € per person).
With the belly already full, the olive oil tasting will follow, here we will learn about the manufacturing process of a product that is made once a year.
Before returning to Lisbon, we will still have time to take a look at the salt pans that already have more than 8 centuries of history.
Now, after a fantastic day, we return to the hotel with the certainty of having a day to remember.
